Many of us encounter challenges as we search for deeper self-understanding and try to make meaningful sense of our lives. We may find ourselves struggling with feelings that are frightening or navigating painful patterns that we don't yet understand. I’m here to support you as you untangle difficult experiences and move toward what you long to get from life.
My understanding of therapy’s unique possibilities is rooted in the belief that talking helps. As you put words to your experiences, you may feel a deepening sense of being known and understood. Over time, being listened to attentively and responded to sensitively can provide the groundwork for you to discover new, more satisfying ways of being.
Supported by a modern psychoanalytic perspective and current research on the neurobiology of attachment, my goal is to create a space in which you can fully encounter every aspect of yourself, from your painful patterns to your innate intelligence. As you “say everything,” you may find that this process deepens your self-awareness, increases your capacity for joy and fulfillment, and makes room for a greater sense of freedom in your life.
“It is a joy to be hidden, but a disaster not to be found.”
